“Paseo de la Castellana” is one of the longest arteries in Madrid with more than 6 kilometers in length.
The financial district of Madrid
In the center and north you have Madrid’s financial district with the ie Tower, AZCA and the CTBA Towers (Cuatro Torres Business Area). The city stands out as one of the privileged financial centers of the euro zone, since it has a series of areas and districts where you can do business with absolute comfort.
ie Tower or Tower Caleido
Also called the fifth tower, it houses the University of ie (ie University). DFLAT has an agreement with the ie whereby Master Students and the University students obtain an important discount on the accommodation rates. The discount has to be requested before checkin.
Azca financial district
Located at the north of Madrid, a project approved in 1964 proposed the ordering of this area of the city, inspired by the Rockefeller Center in New York. It is a 19-hectare rectangular superblock that houses some of the city’s main skyscrapers, such as the well-known Torre Picasso, Torre Europa and Castellana 81 (BBVA headquarters), as well as Torre Mahou, Torre Titania, where one of the largest branches of El Corte Inglés is housed, endless gastronomic options and other establishments such as the well-known Bingo Canoe.
The area is very well connected with different public transport options, thanks to its proximity to the Madrid Metro and Cercanías railway transport interchange, Nuevos Ministerios.
CTBA Financial District
Cuatro Torres Business Area is a business park, built on the grounds of the Real Madrid Sports City, consisting of four skyscrapers that are the tallest buildings in Madrid and Spain. In this park, most of the offices are housed, although there are also services such as a hotel or a garden. In addition, each tower has several underground floors for car parking.
The construction of the four buildings began in 2004, finishing the work in 2008. The four towers are: the two tallest, Torre de Cristal – being 249 meters high – and Torre Foster (known as Torre Cepsa) – 248 meters high– , followed by the PwC Tower, and the Towerspace. Together with them, work is being done on what is known as the “Fifth tower”, the Caleido Tower, which will be inaugurated in 2021.
