The financial district of Madrid is dominated by the “Paseo de la Castellana,” which is one of the longest arteries in Madrid, with more than 6 kilometers in length and ending in the tallest towers of the city.

The financial district of Madrid

Madrid’s financial district not only stands out for its skyline, with emblematic skyscrapers such as the KIO Towers, the Picasso Tower and the Espacio Tower, but also for its modern infrastructure that facilitates access and mobility, with excellent public transport connections and a wide range of services and commercial spaces.

In addition, this district is an important center of innovation and development, with numerous technology projects and startups choosing Madrid as their base of operations.

The Azca Financial Zone

Distrito financiero de MadridLocated north of Madrid, the project that dates from the General Plan of Urban Planning of Madrid, approved in 1964, was inspired by the Rockefeller Center in New York.

The financial center of Madrid is located in the Chamartín district, it covers a rectangular superblock of 19 hectares and is home to some of the city’s most emblematic skyscrapers, such as the Picasso Tower, Europa Tower and Castellana 81, (BBVA’s headquarters). There is also the Mahou Tower, the Titania Tower, which houses one of the largest branches of El Corte Inglés, and a variety of dining options, in addition to the well-known Bingo Canoe.

The excellent connectivity with various public transport options, thanks to the proximity to the Nuevos Ministerios rail transport interchange of the Madrid Metro and Cercanías, makes this area a strategic point for business.

CTBA Financial Zone

Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) is a business park built on the site of Real Madrid’s former Ciudad Deportiva. This park is home to four skyscrapers that are the tallest buildings in Madrid and Spain.

Although its main function is office space, it also includes a hotel and a garden, as well as underground parking floors in each tower.

In the center and north, you have Madrid’s financial district with the IE Tower, AZCA, and CTBA Towers (Cuatro Torres Business Area). The city stands out as one of the privileged financial centers of the euro zone since it has a series of areas and districts where you can do business with absolute comfort.
